Step 1- The Flushing
Fill the CIP tank with permeate water. Use medium-flow pumping and flush the RO system process water to the concentrate drain. The permeate valve should always remain open during the cleaning or flushing process.
Step 2 - The Solution
Use permeate or DI water free of chlorine for preparing the CIP solution. Mix the correct quantity of the selected chemicals in the cleaning tank then, adjust the temperature and pH as recommended by CIPROS7 ™ print-out report.
Step 3 - The Pumping
Fill the pressure vessels with the cleaning solution using low-flow pumping and then diverts up to 20% of the most highly fouled cleaning stream to the concentrate drain. After that, start to recycle the concentrate and permeate to the cleaning solution tank.
Step 4 – The Recycle
Fill the pressure vessels with the cleaning solution using low-flow pumping and then diverts up to 20% of the most highly fouled cleaning stream to the concentrate drain. After that, start to recycle the concentrate and permeate to the cleaning solution tank.
Step 5 - The Soak
Turn the cleaning pump off and allow the elements to soak according to the CIPROS7 ™ recommendations.
Step 6 – The Recirculation
After soaking the system, start with high-flow pumping as recommended by CIPROS7 ™.
Step 7 – The Rinse
Flush out through medium-flow pumping the cleaning solution using permeate water. After rinsing the RO system, you can run the next cleaning according to the CIPROS7 ™ guidelines or start the RO system with the pretreated feedwater. After starting up the RO system measure permeate conductivities of each vessel to verify if any O-ring is broken.
